Sclerotherapyis a method of injecting the sclerotic agent directly into the vein, whose walls then glue together, making the vein invisible.

At the Orlando Polyclinic the sclerotherapy takes up to one hour, and the number of treatments depends on the amount of the affected blood vessels. Before sclerotherapy, most patients require a duplex scan of the veins (an ultrasound test), which can also be performed at our polyclinic.
